Iredell County Parks and Recreation is proud to announce that we were selected as a recipient of the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) Grant in the amount of $183,650 for Scotts Rosenwald Park. This park is located northwest of Statesville, in Iredell County, on Scott’s Creek Road.

Park renovations began when the grant money was allocated, in the fall of 2011. Renovations and enhancements include but are not limited to, additional recreation features such as walking trail, volleyball court, and structural and facility improvements.

The Park is open to the public and amenities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, as long as there is not a scheduled reservation and the area is not closed (weather, maintenance, holiday, etc).

Areas within the park are available for reservations for a fee. Requests for reservations need to be submitted to the Recreation Office 2 weeks prior to the requested date(s).

Reservation fees
Field or Picnic Area: $15/hour or $100/day
Concession Stand: $45/day, plus a $50 refundable deposit, available for rent by athletic associations or other public groups only (not for private for-profit use)
